Thy Kingdom Come

I had the opportunity today to talk about what Shavuot/Pentecost is.  Yahweh our Elohim gave His bride His instructions to be His set-apart people.  At pentecost, His Spirit was given to advance the Kingdom, which is the good news of the gospel.  People, we need to repent and seek His face, we need to return to His instructions for His set-apart people.  If you truly love Yashua, and His Father, Yahweh Elohim, you would be obedient children.
1Jn 5:1  Everyone who believes that יהושע is the Messiah has been born of Elohim, and everyone who loves the One bringing forth also loves the one having been born of Him.
1Jn 5:2  By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His commands.
1Jn 5:3  For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands,1 and His commands are not heavy, Footnote: 1See 5:2, 2 John v. 6, John 14:15.

1Jn 2:3  And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands.1 Footnote: 1See 3:6.
1Jn 2:4  The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5  But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected1 in him. By this we know that we are in Him.2 Footnotes: 1Gen. 17:1, Ps. 119:1, Mt. 5:48. 2See 3:24.
1Jn 2:6  The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.
1Jn 2:7  Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.1 Footnote: 1See v. 24.

Friends, if you are in churchianity and say you love Yahshua but do not follow/guard His commands as given in Torah you are deceiving yourselves.  You will one day find yourself in this situation...

7:21  “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens.
Mat 7:22  “Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’
Mat 7:23  “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’1 Footnote: 1 See v. 15.
The time is short, the kingdom is near.  Please look diligently into this.

This Too May Answer some Questions

What Does “Holy” Mean?
The word "Holy" comes from the Hebrew word 'Kodesh' which means "set-apart to the Creator." The Creator YHWH tells us: Leviticus 11: 44 ‘For I am YHWH your Elohim, and you shall set yourselves apart. And you shall be set-apart, for I am set-apart.' Leviticus 20: 26 ‘And you shall be set-apart to Me, for I YHWH am set-apart, and have separated you from the peoples to be Mine.' 1 Peter 1: 16 "because it has been written, “Be set-apart, for I am set-apart.” (Notice Peter was quoting and teaching the Torah) We are called to be Set-Apart to YHWH, to be a separate and distinct people. This is what he means when he calls us out of the world, to be obedient to him and to be set-apart in what we do, what we eat, in the feast days we keep, the day of rest, etc. We are to be Set-Apart TO YHWH, and not FROM Him, as the rest of the world is following the prince of this world – satan. Let's picture a little scenario here, of YHWH looking down on Earth from heaven: YHWH is thinking to himself; “Hmm, look at those atheists.” “They are decorating Christmas trees, just like the Christians.” “And the Christians are coloring Easter eggs and having egg hunts, but so are those atheists.” “And atheists are eating whatever they want, and so are the Christians.” “Obviously the atheists don't keep my feast days, but neither do the Christians who claim to love me.” “I would expect atheists to not keep my Sabbath, but the Christians who have my Word that tells them the Sabbath is a sign between me and my people forever, well, Christians don't keep the Sabbath either.” “And the atheists live lawlessly without my Torah, but so do the Christians who claim to know me.” “ Surely the atheists don't call upon my name, but neither do Christians.” “They are not even set-apart from each other, I told them I would know them by their fruit, and their fruit looks all the same to me.” 1 John 2: 4 The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Here's the last verse in the entire bible, as it was written (translated) in the KJV: Revelation 22: 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. They seem to have removed something during translation, let's see what was removed and who receives this "grace:" Revelation 22: 21 The GRACE of our Master Yahusha Messiah be with the set-apart ones. Conveniently they re-wrote that last verse to make it seem that the Messiah's grace would be "for all," when that's certainly not the case. Grace or favor is for the set-apart ones only. Revelation 22: 11 “He who does wrong, let him do more wrong; he who is filthy, let him be more filthy; he who is righteous, let him be more righteous; he who is set-apart, let him be more set-apart."
Wrong and filthy are bad, and righteous and set-apart are good. Let's examine the following as well: Revelation 22: 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, Elohim shall take away his part from the Book of Life, and out of the set-apart city. We can see in the last chapter of the entire bible and even in the last sentence, the favor (grace) shown to the people from the Messiah is for those who are set-apart. The good people are set-apart, and those who are set-apart are only the ones who inherit the kingdom of YHWH, which is also called “The SetApart City.”. Not set-apart? Then you are NOT getting grace from the Messiah, or eternal life with the Creator!
John 3: 16 John 3: 16; For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. A beautiful verse for sure. The well known John 3: 16, the one that a lot of the Christians like to hold up and tell you "this is all you need to know to be saved." Please tell me where it says that exactly? The " that's all you need to be saved" part, where does it mention that in scripture about John 3: 16? It says this in James; "the devils also believe, and tremble." So are the devils saved as well, since they also believe? Or is there more to it than that?
When Adam and Eve were walking in the garden, do you think they believed in our Creator? I would assume so, since they walked and talked with him. Their "beliefs" were probably never called into question. What happened then? THEY DISOBEYED. Their belief in the Creator was NEVER an issue. It was the fact that they did not obey him, and that's what brought sin into the world. There is more to being considered one of the Creator's people than merely just "believing." What happened with Cain and Abel? 1 John 3: 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And why did he slay him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
Abel was the obedient one and did as YHWH commanded. His sacrifice was accepted. Cain did what he thought instead, which was something different from what YHWH commanded and he was rejected. It doesn't matter what he thought. All that mattered was DOING what YHWH commanded. You can “believe” anything you want. Beliefs won't save the devils, and beliefs won't save you. You need to OBEY the Creator. If you disregard his Torah, you are considered evil and wicked according to the Creator and according to the Messiah. Proverbs 28: 9 He that turns away his ear from hearing the law (Torah), even his prayer shall be abomination. John 9: 31 Now we know that Elohim hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of Elohim, and does his will, him he hears. Hebrews 5: 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Acts 5: 31-32 Him has Elohim exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Deliverer, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Set-Apart Spirit, whom Elohim has given to them that obey him. Deuteronomy 6: 25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before YHWH our Elohim, as he has commanded us. In the end times.... Revelation 20: 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Elohim; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is
the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20: 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. (notice it is WORKS and not just beliefs) John 3: 16 is a beautiful verse and gives us reassurance and hope, but there's more to it than just believing. Are You #1 or #2 in the Plan? Many years ago, a marriage covenant was set up between YHWH and his bride. They had an agreement that since he saved her and freed her from bondage, he would continue to provide for her and to protect her as long as she loved only him, was faithful to him and would keep their marriage covenant. After a while she did seek after another and broke the covenant. He scattered her abroad, out of his house. But he loved her still and told her that he would take her back if she would come back into the covenant. He told her he would send his son back to get her, and that he would recognize her because she would be set-apart from everyone else and doing what he said. He would make it easy and would write it all down. He said that he wouldn't change and that the covenant wouldn't change. That way there would be no confusion. It was written that she would even practice the triumphant reunion by celebrating these feasts that were written down, so she would know what the appointed time is!
BUT he warned her that there would be an enemy who would try to tell her that he doesn't mean what he says, and that the enemy would even lie and say that YHWH had changed the covenant himself. But she should not believe the enemy, for YHWH meant what he said. She would know his son because the son will say what YHWH has said, and that because she knows the father she'll have no problem recognizing the son. He'll know the covenant perfectly, and he's going to pick her up at the appointed time. But sadly the bride listened to the enemy. He mislead her to the point of her not knowing the appointed time to meet, and he actually got her to believe that YHWH didn't mean what he said and that he threw out the wedding covenant!! I know it's unbelievable but she actually tells
people that she knows that he'll still love her, provide for and protect her even though she completely disregarded his wishes, was unfaithful, had others before him! She even keeps the feast days of his enemy but ignores YHWH's! So his son will come back, and one of two things will happen. #1. He will leave her standing on the Earth and she will watch him leave. His horrific words “Depart from me” will ring in her ears. Only then will she realize that she never, ever should have listened to the enemy. Now she will be forever doomed, because he only came back the one time for her and he didn't recognize her. He couldn't, she had no idea that he meant what he said, he had never changed the covenant and despite all the warnings, she chose to believe a lie over the one who could truly save her. His truth was real, and she realized this too late. The ironic thing is, he told her this might happen!! OR #2. She will realize she was being told lies by the enemy, and just in time she will see the error of her ways and go back into covenant. She will re-learn the appointed feast times and know when to expect him. She will realize that she has to turn back to the marriage covenant called "Torah" (the word for “turn back” is "repent”). She will start doing everything he said to do, then she will be marked by him and when his son returns he will be able to identify her easily, and he will take her off to the wedding feast to live forever with him!!!

Unconditional Eternal Security 2

Eternal Security Part 2

Arguments for:
Joh 10:28 “And I give them everlasting life, and they shall by no means ever perish, and no one shall snatch them out of My hand.
Joh 10:29 “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all. And no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

At first glance this may seem to indicate an argument for Eternal security. The problem is the rest of the context.
Joh 10:27 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.1 Footnote: 1Rev. 14:4-5.

Only those who hear and follow the shepherd are called His sheep. His sheep are the only ones who have eternal life. In the original Greek the words Hear and Follow are in the present tense. This means that His sheep are those that are actively hearing and following. This cannot be someone who at another time heard and followed and is not currently doing so. The security is conditional. What does it mean to hear and to follow? The Greek to hear comes from a word meaning to comprehend or understand. In this context the word follow, in the Greek means one who cleaves or holds firmly with all of his might with out letting go. So they must be cleaving to the Shepherd in believing trust and obedience. Those who hold to Him must also follow His lead and act according to His example. You cannot be following if you are not obeying.

Rom 11:17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them, and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree,
Rom 11:18 do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember: you do not bear the root, but the root bears you!
Rom 11:19 You shall say then, “The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.”
Rom 11:20 Good! By unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by belief. Do not be arrogant, but fear.
Rom 11:21 For if Elohim did not spare the natural branches, He might not spare you either.
Rom 11:22 See then the kindness and sharpness of Elohim: on those who fell sharpness, but toward you kindness, if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off.

As a believer we are grafted into the good olive tree. But if we choose to not continue in His goodness we can be cut off.

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of the Messiah? Shall pressure, or distress, or persecution, or scarcity of food, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it has been written, “For Your sake we are killed all day long, we are reckoned as sheep of slaughter.”
Rom 8:37 But in all this we are more than overcomers through Him who loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor messengers nor principalities nor powers, neither the present nor the future,
Rom 8:39 nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Elohim which is in Messiah יהושע our Master.

What about these verses. These verses are not talking about salvation but about the love of Elohim. Love and salvation are two different gifts from Elohim.

I believe this final passage sums up the whole issue. Eph 4:17 So this I say, and witness in the Master, that you should no longer walk as the gentiles walk,1 in the futility of their mind, Footnote: 11 Cor. 12:2, and Jer. 10:2.
Eph 4:18 having been darkened in their understanding, having been estranged from the life of Elohim, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart,
Eph 4:19 who, having become callous, have given themselves up to indecency, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
Eph 4:20 But you have not so learned Messiah,
Eph 4:21 if indeed you have heard Him and were taught by Him, as truth is in יהושע:
Eph 4:22 that you put off – with regard to your former way of life – the old man, being corrupted according to the desires of the deceit,
Eph 4:23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
Eph 4:24 and that you put on the renewed man1 which was created according to Elohim, in righteousness and set-apartness of the truth. Footnote: 1Rom. 8:1.
Eph 4:25 Therefore, having put off the false, speak truth, each one with his neighbour, for we are members of one another.
Eph 4:26 “Be wroth, but do not sin.” Do not let the sun go down on your rage,
Eph 4:27 nor give place to the devil.
Eph 4:28 Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labour, working with his hands what is good, so that he has somewhat to share with those in need.
Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt word come out of your mouth, but only such as is good for the use of building up, so as to impart what is pleasant to the hearers.
Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Set-apart Spirit of Elohim, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and displeasure, and uproar, and slander be put away from you, along with all evil.
Eph 4:32 And be kind towards one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as Elohim also forgave you in Messiah.
Eph 5:1 Become, then, imitators of Elohim as beloved children.
Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Messiah also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to Elohim for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
Eph 5:3 But whoring and all uncleanness, or greed of gain, let it not even be named among you, as is proper among set-apart ones –
Eph 5:4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather thanksgiving.
Eph 5:5 For this you know, that no one who whores, nor unclean one, nor one greedy of gain, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the reign of Messiah and Elohim.
Eph 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words,1 for because of these the wrath of Elohim comes upon the sons of disobedience. Footnote: 1See 4:14.
Eph 5:7 Therefore do not become partakers with them.
Eph 5:8 For you were once darkness,1 but now you are light in the Master. Walk as children of light – Footnote: 1See 2:2, 4:18, Col. 3:7.
Eph 5:9 for the fruit of the Spirit1 is in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth – Footnote: 1See Philip 1:11.
Eph 5:10 proving what is well-pleasing to the Master.
Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the fruitless works of darkness, but rather reprove1 them. Footnote: 1Or confute, or expose.
Eph 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of what is done by them in secret.
Eph 5:13 But all matters being reproved1 are manifested by the light, for whatever is manifested is light. Footnote: 1Or confuted, or exposed.
Eph 5:14 That is why He says, “Wake up, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Messiah shall shine on you.”
Eph 5:15 See then that you walk exactly, not as unwise, but as wise,
Eph 5:16 redeeming the time, because the days are wicked.
Eph 5:17 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the desire of יהוה is.
Eph 5:18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is loose behaviour, but be filled with the Spirit,
Eph 5:19 speaking to each other in psalms and songs of praise and spiritual songs, singing and striking the strings in your heart to the Master,
Eph 5:20 giving thanks always for all to Elohim the Father, in the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah,
Eph 5:21 subjecting yourselves to each other in the fear1 of Elohim. Footnote: 1Ex. 20:20.

There are many who do not handle the Word of Truth wisely. They pick and choose verses here and there and use them to make them say things Elohim's word does not. Please when you research use the whole context and then the greater context of the whole Word of Elohim.

If the doctrine of Unconditional Eternal Security is true then why do the New Testament writers spend so much time telling us to avoid sin, be obedient to Elohim, live a life that is set apart or holy, and so on. All they would have needed to do was to tell us believe Yeshua died for your sins, be born again, and after that you can do what you would like to because you are guaranteed a spot in heaven.

Until next time. Continue to Study to show yourselves approved. I am planning on writing a post about signs or messages we want to send to those around us.

Eternal Security Part I

This is pretty lengthy due to all the Scripture in it.  I ask you to do your own research also.  Do not take my word for it.  Be a Berean.
Can a person lose their salvation? Let the Scriptures speak.

Mat 10:21 “And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and a father his child. And children shall rise up against parents and shall put them to death.
Mat 10:22 “And you shall be hated by all for My Name’s sake. But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.1 Footnote: 1See 24:13.

Mat 13:5 “And others fell on rocky places, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil.
Mat 13:6 “But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered. Mat 13:20 “And that sown on rocky places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy,
Mat 13:21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away.

The grace of Elohim works together with man's obedience which then results in steadfast enduring faith or faithfulness.

1Pe 1:22 Now that you have cleansed your lives in obeying the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fervently with a clean heart,
1Pe 1:23 having been born again – not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible – through the living Word of Elohim, which remains forever,
1Pe 1:24 because “All flesh is as grass, and all the esteem of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away,
1Pe 1:25 but the Word of Elohim remains forever.”1 And this is the Word, announced as Good News to you. Footnote: 1Isa. 40:6-8.
1Pe 2:1 Having put aside, then, all evil, and all deceit, and hypocrisies, and envyings, and all evil words,
1Pe 2:2 as newborn babes, desire the unadulterated milk of the Word, in order that you grow by it,
1Pe 2:3 if indeed you have tasted that the Master is good.
1Pe 2:4 Drawing near to Him, a living Stone – rejected indeed by men, but chosen by Elohim and precious –
1Pe 2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up, a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings acceptable to Elohim through יהושע Messiah.
1Pe 2:6 Because it is contained in the Scripture, “See, I lay in Tsiyon a chief corner-stone, chosen, precious, and he who believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame.”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 28:16.
1Pe 2:7 This preciousness, then, is for you who believe; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner-stone,”1 Footnote: 1Ps. 118:22.
1Pe 2:8 and “A stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling,”1 who stumble because they are disobedient2 to the Word, to which they also were appointed. Footnotes: 1Isa. 8:14. 2See John 3:36, Heb. 3:18.
1Pe 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a people for a possession, that you should proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light,
1Pe 2:10 who once were not a people, but now the people of Elohim; who had not obtained compassion, but now obtained compassion.

Purified through obedience 1:22

1Jn 5:1 Everyone who believes that יהושע is the Messiah has been born of Elohim, and everyone who loves the One bringing forth also loves the one having been born of Him.
1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His commands.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands,1 and His commands are not heavy, Footnote: 1See 5:2, 2 John v. 6, John 14:15.
1Jn 5:4 because everyone having been born of Elohim overcomes the world. And this is the overcoming that has overcome the world: our belief.
1Jn 5:5 Who is the one who overcomes the world but he who believes that יהושע is the Son of Elohim?

Obedience to His Commands or instructions is the proof of the love we have for Elohim.

om 2:6 who “shall render to each one according to his works”:1 Footnote: 1Matt. 16:27.
Rom 2:7 everlasting life to those who by persistence in good work seek for esteem, and respect, and incorruptibility;
Rom 2:8 but wrath and displeasure to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness;
Rom 2:9 affliction and distress on every human being working what is evil, of the Yehuḏite first, and also of the Greek;
Rom 2:10 but esteem, respect, and peace to everyone working what is good, to the Yehuḏite first and also to the Greek.
Rom 2:11 For there is no partiality with Elohim.
Rom 2:12 For as many as sinned without Torah shall also perish without Torah, and as many as sinned in the Torah shall be judged by the Torah.
Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the law1 shall be declared right. Footnote: 1Mt. 7:21-27, James 2:14-24.

Jas 2:16 but one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what use is it?
Jas 2:17 So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead.
Jas 2:18 But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works.
Jas 2:19 You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder!
Jas 2:20 But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead?
Jas 2:21 Was not Aḇraham our father declared right by works when he offered Yitsḥaq his son on the altar?
Jas 2:22 Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the works the belief was perfected?
Jas 2:23 And the Scripture was filled which says, “Aḇraham believed Elohim, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.” And he was called, “Elohim’s friend.”
Jas 2:24 You see, then, that a man is declared right by works, and not by belief alone.
Jas 2:25 In the same way, was not Raḥaḇ the whore also declared right by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?
Jas 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead without the works.

Luk 14:28 “For who of you, wishing to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
Luk 14:29 “Otherwise, when he has laid the foundation, and is unable to finish it, all who see it begin to mock him,
Luk 14:30 saying, ‘This man began to build and was unable to finish.’

One of the words we see over and over is that of Keep. Or guard, hold firm, attend carefully. We see this over and over again in Deuteronomy. The Hebrew word picture is that of Guarding to keep with all of ones might or power. Grasping firmly.

Joh 15:14 “You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
Joh 14:15 “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.1 Footnote: 1See Ex. 20:6, vv. 21&23, 1 John 5:2-3, 2 John v. 6.
Heb 2:1 Because of this we have to pay more attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away.
Heb 2:2 For if the word spoken through messengers proved to be firm, and every transgression and disobedience received a right reward,
Heb 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a deliverance, which first began to be spoken by the Master, and was confirmed to us by those that heard,

Grace through faithfulness. Yes faithfulness. The English understanding of the word faith is a passive understanding. In the Greek and Hebrew Faith is active. So it would be better translated as faithfulness. We also see we need to add to our faith...Make an effort to enter the narrow gate. We need to guard our hearts...

Looking at Lk 8:21 and 6:46-49 we are reminded to dig deep foundations. The deep foundation is that of Torah or Yahweh Elohim's instructions for His set-apart people.

Looking at Eph 2:8-9 we need to read the whole context. We cannot stop at verse 9.
Eph 2:8 For by favour you have been saved, through belief, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of Elohim,
Eph 2:9 it is not by works, so that no one should boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah יהושע unto good works, which Elohim prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

So true salvation is the WORK of faithfulness. The Word of Elohim working in you as you Receive, obey and put into practice that which you have received. I will go into some of the arguments that are used for eternal security another time. For now this is pretty lengthy. Or you yourselves can look those things up and be sure to look carefully at the context in which they are in.
