Abba El's Moedim (appointed times)

It has been a while since I posted anything from Kyle.  I believe this is very important for all believers to understand.  Where Bible prophecy in the West fails, is in the understanding of Yahweh's Moedim (appointed times or feast days).  I think Kyle really nails this one.

I friend of mine and I were having a conversation ... it went like this:
I was told by a friend, “We must be ready, Jesus may return any day”
I told my friend, “Impossible … it is not His appointed time yet”
He then asked, “Kyle, how can you be so sure”
(In order to know the Son, we MUST know the Father’s way and understand)

Feast of Trumpets
Many feel that the Feast of Trumpets is the day that our Messiah returns to reign for a thousand years.  I am one of those who believe that our Holy and perfect Father is just that … perfect and He works on His appointed days (Remember, even Yeshua (Jesus) said, “It is NOT my appointed time yet” … hmmm … “appointments” … so He DOES work on the timetable set forth by His Father.
When we study the actual command, we will find that there is not much to do on this feast but blow our shofar (trumpets / horns) and celebrate (this day is a special Sabbath and is also to be treated as one is commanded on the seventh day Sabbath):
Leviticus 23:24-25 … “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts.  Do no regular work, but present an offering made to YHVH by fire.'”
Number 29:1 … “On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets.”
That’s it?  Yes, that is it!  We are simply commanded to blow the trumpets this day as we rest, have a sacred assembly, and do no work.  Why?  Well, let us look into the past and what the sound of the trumpets meant:
(Ushering in a King) … 1 Kings 1:39 … “Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the sacred tent and anointed Solomon. Then they sounded the trumpet and all the people shouted, ‘Long live King Solomon!’” and 2 Kings 9:13 … “They hurried and took their cloaks and spread them under him on the bare steps. Then they blew the trumpet and shouted, ‘Jehu is king!’”
(Sounding the alarm) … Ezekiel 33:2-5 … “Son of man, speak to your countrymen and say to them: 'When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head.  Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself.”
Let me ask you, do you think that the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) could have been crucified in June?  In the Fall?  Impossible!!  If He is the Passover Lamb and if it was any other day, then He would not have been the Passover Lamb … just some prophet who was crucified!  You see, YHVH works according to His schedule:
In order …
Passover (not a special Sabbath, but a moment of the Passover sacrifice):
Yeshua is that Lamb
Unleavened bread (has two special Sabbaths):
Yeshua was buried for 3 days / 3 nights
Firstfruits (not a special Sabbath):
Yeshua is the first born in the Spirit among many
Pentecost (special Sabbath and starts with firstfruits):
The giving of the Spirit to teach us the Laws
Trumpets (special Sabbath):
The return of the Messiah to gather His elect / Priests / clay of noble purposes
Day of Atonement (special Sabbath / fast day):
We are judged righteous in His blood (This is for those in the FIRST resurrection)
Tabernacles (special Sabbath):
Those “in Messiah” spend 1,000 years with Him
8th Day Assembly (special Sabbath):
The whole family of Israel is assembled (those who were not part of the first resurrection and have not heard of the Messiah, and choose Him, come into the family).
Are we not waiting for His return?  Didn’t He die (Passover) Was He buried (Unleavened Bread)) Did He rise (First Fruits) Did the day of Pentecost come and Spirit given to all men (Pentecost) … so what is next?  Are we not waiting for His return (Hint:  look above and the order of HIS appointed days … then continue reading what is going to happen at His return)?
“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.  And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”  (Matthew 24:30-31)  (Who will stop mourning?  Those who recognize the “Law of Moses” … “The Word” … “The Messiah” – see Nehemiah 8:2-12)
“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed -- in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52)
“According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.   For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.   After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.   Therefore encourage each other with these words.”  (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)
Conclusion:
A fun fact regarding this day.  ALL the other feasts are known ahead of time.  You see the sliver of the moon (we go by Israel’s sighting) and then a certain amount of days after is the certain feast we going to celebrate.  ALL but this feast … the feast of Trumpets.  It is the first day of the month and we will never know the actual day or hour until it is already upon us (since it is based upon the new moon sighting and when you see the sliver, it is too late, the day is here … kind of cool, eh?)  Knowing that brings new meaning to Matthew 25:13 … “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”  Therefore, keep watch because we do not know until it comes.
Remember that the Messiah could NOT have been crucified any other day than on Passover if He was going to be the Passover Lamb.  Same with His coming.  Only the Father knows all things and He knows when that new moon ushering in the seventh month of the year He is sending His Son will be!!
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”  (Matthew 24:36)
It is clear that we will NOT know the day or the hour (or even the year it will be), but we DO know the season and it will not surprise us (1 Thessalonians 5:4 … “But you, brothers, are NOT in darkness that this day should surprise you like a thief.”)
When the feast of Trumpets is approaching, we are looking for the sliver and we wait.
Hebrews 9:27-28 … “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”  (Hebrews 9:27-28)
I will not be buying, selling, planting and so forth on this day.  It is a Sabbath and I will be resting in Him as He gathers His elect.  What about those who do NOT celebrate His Feasts?  What will THEY be doing on this day?
And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; 29 but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.”  (Luke 17:26-29)
This year, when the seventh month of HIS timetable is approaching, I will be waiting for Him.  Although I am busy doing His work now (practicing the Laws and teaching others how to obey them … Matthew 5:19), I am confident it is not today or tomorrow (This is not a prediction, but it certainly will not take me by surprise because I will be waiting as the day approaches and will be watching for the New Moon.  That is why it is going to take so many by surprise.  It is because they will not be anticipating Him to return on that day as they are not practicing the Feasts.  Be assured that it is NOT a sin to buy and sell, plant and harvest, or even to build (except on the Sabbath … smile … and the feast of Trumpets is a special Sabbath!), but it makes sense that those who are not waiting on that day, will be living their lives in ignorance and will not be obeying Him … just makes sense.
